We are a female-led, privately-held company. We were originally incorporated in Arkansas in November 1994 as GyneTech, Inc. We changed our name to GyneConcepts, Inc. in September 1997, and our principal offices were relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 2008. Elizabeth B. Klein - Served as an Area and Regional Director for KinderCare Learning Centers from 1966-1985 with responsibilities for site selection, building construction, financing as well as direct responsibilities for over 500 centers and staff. Co-owner since 1984, Secretary and Treasurer of Medical Associates Hair Transplant Surgery Centers with offices in Atlanta and Chattanooga. Active in many community affairs, including being a recipient of The Community Service Award for the State of Georgia and The National Jefferson Award for volunteerism. Betty served as Secretary/Treasurer of GyneConcepts from 2007-2008, becoming acting CEO of GyneConcepts in December 2008. Phil Klein - Founder, co-owner and President of Medical Associates Hair Transplant Surgery Centers. Phil has twenty-five years experience in advertising and promotions and for 20 years was owner, President and Director of an advertising and public relations agency. He received his Bachelor Degrees in Fine Arts as well as Industrial Design from the University of Oklahoma - Norman. Phil has served as a Board Member of GyneConcepts for two years. Dr. Isaac Schiff, MD (not pictured) - Serves as Chairman of GyneConcepts' Medical Advisory Board. Dr. Schiff did his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Boston Hospital for Women [now Brigham and Women's Hospital] and a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the same institution. He was the Director of Reproductive Endocrinology at Brigham and Women's Hospital before being selected to head the Vincent Obstetrics and Gynecology Service at the Massachusetts General Hospital in 1988. He also became the Joe Vincent Meigs Professor of Gynecology at Harvard Medical School at the same time. He is Past President of the North American Menopause Society and Editor-in-Chief of its journal, Menopause. In addition, he chairs the Medical Advisory Board for Pause, the consumer magazine for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. |
